Making DVD Booklet

Step is similar to making CD Booklet except that you need not have to make the cd pocket inside the booklet. Instead use the available clear pocket that can contain the DVD title and also the cd pocket to protect your DVD when you slot into the clear pocket(between the DVD title printout)

First prepare 5 strips of cardboard width 1 cm by length 19 cm as shown below

Stack the DVD pocket similar to the process of the CD pocket until all the 6 pockets are bind together and apply a 1 cm strip to further strengthen the binding (you will need to join the strip due to the length from the A4 paper is insufficient). Make sure that the strip holds both ends and only the centre portion needs to be joined (for leveling purpose which is also for the front cover to adhere firmly)

Preparation of Front & Back Cover

Next prepare 2 A4 size paper with 200 gsm thickness with dimension as specified above

Using the DVD Pockets

Making use of the clear DVD pocket for title cover and disc storage to prevent scratches

Storage Comparison

The results shown the creation of cover storage of 120 pcs of DVDs instead of the single row of 20 DVDs which is 6 times the storage space. Even if double base DVD cover is used, the storage is still 3 times more and the titles of the movie are clearly shown on the label of the DVD created booklet.
